I don't know how many times I've seen it, but I have never gone through a period where I watched it loads of times in quick succession like some of you.
In recent years, I have seen it in chunks---to answer a query for the forum perhaps---and sometimes watch more than I intended (it has that effect!) but hardly watched the film in its entirety.
Now, I probably see it once a year.
Try this analogy: I love chocolate eclairs --- but I prefer them when I eat them occassionally, not gorge on five or six in a day.
You can have too much of a good thing.
I first saw the 'W&I' on its release in the UK in '88 (before it was brought out on video), and it was a thrill to leaf through 'Time Out' magazine every week in the hope that it would be in the listings somewhere---when more often than not, it wasn't---and then see that it was... and rush off to see it in, I dunno, Greenwich!
When you view it occassionally, I think you cherish it more.
I can't think of anything specific now, but I noticed that when I viewed it occasionally (and I thought I had seen everything), I would watch it another time and pick up on a nuance I had missed before.
