Blade Runner

I tried to watch it again last night but I had to turn it off after 40 minutes. I tried not to, oh how I tried not to but it is just too shit to sit through. Maybe one day I will muster the patience to watch it all...

I finally forced myself to watch the whole damn thing, and I still didn't like it. Great theme by Vangelos though.

To be honest the only reason I sat through 40 minutes was the awesome synth work.

Now I really like this movie. I can't watch it very often, but I do like it! The music, as pointed out above is wonderful. I can see how it's not to everyones taste however.

Maybe its a love it or hate it film. I love it, although I didn't on my first viewing of it (first cut with voice-over when I was 13 years old). It kind of grew on me, I now own the final cut on blu-ray where it looks & sounds gorgeous.

I had no idea it was supposed to have a voice over. Funnily enough I kept thinking "this could do with a voice over" while I was watching it. Final cut my arse.

Me too. I prefer the voice-over narration. It makes it more noir-ish and private dickish. Director should have kept it in his final cut. What a dick.

I was recently forced to watch this by my uncle. I can't say I liked it. It was probably good at the time but it hasn't aged well. The robots with human flesh reminded me of the terminator and since Blade Runner was made first, it gave me one more reason to hate James Cameron and think he just steals everything he writes.
