At the moment I'm reading Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 by Hunter S. Thompson, I've already read F+L in Las Vegas, Hells Angels and Better than Sex by the same author.

Hey there's another link with Sharpe (Bernard Cornwell)..well sort of Paul McGann was originally going to play Sharpe........actually he was also gong to play Robin of Sherwood in the 80's but it went to Jason C. as Paul turned it down due to other committments.
If I see that silage heap hanging around up here.....

I can't imagine him as Robin Hood. And I liked the first Robin (the dark-haired one) to the extremely blonde and unsuitable Jason C., even though he was still cute. Actually I had the hots for the bad boy Sir Guy Whatshisname. But I digress............

The Prince - Machiavelli.
They found him wandering round Regent's Park with a cheap bottle of sherry...

And like a fool I mixed them and it strangled up my mind, and now people just get uglier and I have no sense of time...

To be perfectly honest, Machiavelli is rather tame... In this century we are all so cynical it just seems natural.
