I have survived!

A place to come and say hello and hang around and converse.

I have survived!

the great blackout of 2012! Over a million households in the MD/DC/VA area without power, and I got mine back in a mere 21 hours. And on a 100+ degree weekend! I've got a bastard behind the eyes to show for it. No storm damage though.

My geography of the States is terrible. Where are you situated? East Coast? How far down?

levees, my ass! they shouldn't have built a city 3 feet below sea level! but Isaac is a mere Cat one storm, I think Katrina was the full Cat 5.

Why do people live in these shitty places with hurricanes and earthquakes? They should live somewhere proper like Britain.

I like cats. More cats are clearly better. They didn't even need New Orleans. The French had it, and they bought it! Crazy. French must be laughing now.
They found him wandering round Regent's Park with a cheap bottle of sherry...

And like a fool I mixed them and it strangled up my mind, and now people just get uglier and I have no sense of time...

In more serious news,

I cant believe the voice of "The Count" from Sesame street has died, must have been a wooden stake, as cant see it being a silver bullet as with the rising price of precious metals these days
