Excellent description Vim, it sounded like a great night. I'm with you - £36 to see the film at Sleddale Hall was just a big cash-in.

Where was that sign hanging up? Was it in a local pub?

I haven't watched The League for ages, gonna have to get out the dvds this weekend I think. :thumbup:

Yes, the sign is the actual one you see on the credits and it was hung in a pub called the Palatine, which is opposite the statue - both also in the credits.
