Source of a Monty Quote - help please?

PostPosted by Spike55 » Thu Oct 17, 2013 7:39 pm

Hi all, first post so hopefully am in the right section.

I'm trying to work out what the reference is back to in this quote from Monty - when they've been out together on the feels for a walk;

Come on lads, let's get home, the sky's beginning to bruise, night must fall and we shall be forced to camp.

I know many of his references stem from Shakespeare and Baudelaire but I'm at a loss to find out where this one comes from - or do you think it is simply home grown?

Thanks in advance for any Withnail and I scholars who can cast light on this!
