REG looks smashing, and Elizabeth McGovern looks like an old shoe. HA!

Drove past his house the other day. He was outside gardening. I shouted SCRUBBER! He didn't look up. Just smiled knowingly as I drove on.

You know where he lives? Are you stalking him now?

Speaking of stalking... I have been exchanging emails with REG every now and then, mostly about the "Wall-O-Withnail"... but the other day I was online looking at the website for his new perfume, "Jack". I sent an online inquiry via the website, asking if they had any plans for stores in the USA to carry it. Currently it's only available from the UK.

When the reply email came back, it was signed "Chin-chin, Richard"... so basically he's answering the email from the perfume website himself! I laughed, because now he's going to think I'm totally stalking him. I had no idea he would answer the emails from a perfume website - I thought he'd have "people" to do that sort of thing.

HA!

I'm actually kind of sorry he's answering the perfume inquiries personally, because I wanted to ask them if they made samples or smaller bottles, because the stuff is so expensive (nearly $200 USD) that I'd rather take a sniff of it and make sure I actually like it before laying out that kind of cash.... but I'm not going to say that to HIM. How embarrassing would that be? Um, yeah, hi, I'm a big fan of yours but you need to put out some tiny perfume bottles for us po folks. Sheesh.
