Has anyone ever encountered any genuine props from the film apart from the obvious i.e Withnails coat....If anyone has a piece of Montys pink wallpaper spare i would be very interested in coming to some sort of arrangement to take it off your hands....Looking through all the photos posted on here i have missed out on a lot.....

Dear boy, simply everyone has a piece of Monty's wallpaper...
They found him wandering round Regent's Park with a cheap bottle of sherry...

And like a fool I mixed them and it strangled up my mind, and now people just get uglier and I have no sense of time...

on one of our many trips to sleddale we had a dig round in the barn, and in there found a copy of the times from 1986, the building was empty at that time and was only used for filming withnail. so chances are it was from someone on the set, we also found a big box of 1960s milk bottles, again these werent contemporary to the 1980's so i assume were film props left behind. i kept one, its a blown glass milk bottle embossed with the name of a dairy from morecambe and stoppered with a cork cap, it sits still on the shelf in my lounge. ive got roof slates and some of the pink wallpaper and border, although im not sure where they are. i will see if i can find it and post a pic.
