Who, apart from me, actually likes the Velvet Underground?

Anyone? I'm sure there was someone.
They found him wandering round Regent's Park with a cheap bottle of sherry...

And like a fool I mixed them and it strangled up my mind, and now people just get uglier and I have no sense of time...

Me, I fucking completely adore them. The finest band of all time, pretty much.

I've always been a big fan of Velvet Underground too.

Know it's a bit late but I really like The Velvet Underground. At this moment I am listening to 'White Light...'.

There definitely seems to be a shared interest, interesting.

I'm a huge fan. I love the first and third albums - I think they're stellar. I also enjoy Loaded, but its undeniably much more commercially-inclined. White Light/White Heat is very interesting, but never quite caught my imagination in the same way (although The Gift is hilarious). I think their third album is the one that touches me the most, particularly After Hours, the one that Mo Tucker sings. She has the sweetest voice.

If you can get hold of it, Live at Le Bataclan is well worth a listen. It's probably not that easy to find, though.

By the way, hello. My hobbies include getting involved in antiquarian discussions and talking too much. I'll be going now.
How could I find the things I sought for?
No wonder they were all denied;
The very happiness I sought for
Was right there by your side.

I love them. My favourite album is the third one, and then Velvet Underground & Nico. I don't like White Light/White Heat so much, but maybe I just haven't listened to it enough.
