Watched this the other night, I could only describe it as "a head in the hands in disbelief black comedy" with some quoteable Withnailesque lines to boot, surprisingly Dylan Moran makes for quite a good actor, though most of the time just could not get away from thinking he was doing his stand up routine, this one definately epitomises the "with hilarious consequences" tag.

God Bless America

An ultra-violent articulation of pretty much everything I hate about the world, why I hate it and how (if I had the balls) I would go about changing things. Not without its flaws but still definitely well worth a watch.

Pig Hunt

A homicidal 3000lb boar is on the loose in the California hills and a good looking teen and his even more good looking girlfriend kill it, but not before it's killed most of their friends and most of the hillbillys who have been stalking them.

On the plus side, Les Claypool (one of my favourite musicians) plays the preacher and contributes to the soundtrack. But that's about the only plus.

Let's just say that I'm glad I only paid £1.48 for it.

Last night I watched Ted, and the Father Ted Christmas episode.

The stuffed bear thing was crap. There were about three funny lines in the whole thing, and it just felt like it was trying way too hard [and failed].

Father Ted was hilarious though. I've seen it a million times before and it's still funny every time.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Pretty well paced with good performances and just enough black humour to keep me interested. Worth a watch if you are bored shitless.

I watched a couple that I've been meaning to see for a while, but only got round to it after they were shown on Film4...

24 Hour Party People and Mr. Nice.

The former was absolute bollocks. Soundtrack was pretty good though.

The latter, I guess I knew it wouldn't do Howard Marks' autobiography justice but, as biopics go, it wasn't bad.

I'd also recommend "The Kite Runner" as well. Watched last night.
