as this is for political stuff, and ive an interest, im posting here.

its 22 years ago today since the french government carried out an act of state sponsored terrorism against the peacefull group greenpeace. the greenpeace flagship was berthed in aukland harbour, when agents of the french government(including interestingly, the brother of the former presidential hopeful segeline royale), under direct orders from francois metterande planted 2 explosive devices on the ships hull. the bombs were times to explode at different times, implying that they not only wanted to sink the ship, but also to kill or injure any on board investigating the first explosion, (a well known terrorist ploy if you follow news from iraq afghanistan etc) the bombs exploded and a greenpeace crew member was killed. the french denied any involvement, but when it became apparent that it was them(after they made bungled attempts to cover their tracks, including a ploy to blame britains mi6) they admitted it grudgingly, as their secret service agents were already in custody in nz. the cae was tried and the 2 divers who planted the bombs were convicted. the french then put political pressure on the govt of NZ to the extent that they threatened that if the convicted french nationals werent allowed to serve their time out in a french jail, then the french would make sure that all of NZ's exports to the EEC were blocked. under such pressure the nz govt buckled and agreed to let the french serve their time in french prisons. as soon as they set foot on french soil, they were released, and sent back home to their familys, and subsequently decortated by their own millitary.

the full story if you want to read it is here,

lets not forget, when our politicians bleat on about state sponsored terrorists that its not just the countries of the middle east that do it. a british registered ship was sunk in an unprovoked attack, in a friendly forieign port by the french government, a man died, and only 2 of those responsible have been brought to account for their actions. the rest are still free with the blessing of their own government.

it's only terrorism when it's the OTHER country. The world is going to hell. I think humanity will go the way of the dinosaurs. It's bullshit to think we are in control when we really suck. We've got to change our evil ways, baby.

And people think our governments don't carry out acts of terrorism. Makes you wonder about so-called Al Qaeda attacks doesn't it? Apparently Al Qaeda (The Base) are so named because they were originally the database of terrorists useful to the CIA. When exactly are they supposed to have decided that they actually hate the west, and to abandon the millions of dollars they were receiving for their services?

If you look at the dictionary definition of terrorism it is clear that half of what states do counts.
They found him wandering round Regent's Park with a cheap bottle of sherry...

And like a fool I mixed them and it strangled up my mind, and now people just get uglier and I have no sense of time...
