recommendations?

PostPosted by McFuck » Mon Nov 12, 2007 12:47 am

I need some films for my Blockbuster queue, I think I have seen everything. Please recommend some - but please, no horror or children's films. Thank you!

Just seen 'Little Miss Sunshine'. Very funny. Give it a go.

Renting DVD movies is the way to go just now I think. Cinema has been pretty crap for a while now and some of the so-called blockbusters have failed to impress me lately. I bought "The Departed" in a sale recently though and think its pretty good. Oh, and Dark City too.

If you don't see Borat soon I will come down there and forcefeed you drugged onions until you do!

I saw Little Miss Sunshine and liked it, saw The Departed but can't remember it, and I added Dark City to my list. Fuck Borat though!

If you like make sexy time with Borat Sagdiev, he will be happy to oblige, even if you are older than his mother. And she is oldest woman in village!

Why don't you try some french cinematic experiences, such as Amelie,Angel-A,Belleville Rendezvous and the Taxi trilogy (which all three are very funny) but what ever you don't watch the american version it's truly awful.

There is a small British film from 1986 called 'Withnail & I' that's pretty good. See if you can get that.

There's a relatively little-known ( here in the UK anyway) Canadian film called "Hard Core Logo", its a seriously funny mockumentary as if following a band on their tour.
