Yeah yeah laugh it up. At least we were beaten by the best team in the world in the Champions League Final, unlike your ragged band of no-hopers

OK back on topic, I can't believe the media are still portraying this as a pandemic thats going to kill us all. They keep going on about more people catching it, but don't mention the fact that nobody has died from it in the UK. As far as I can make out swine flu is about as deadly as ordinary flu and if anything less infectious, seeing as a normal bout of flu would have swept through the whole country and vanished again by now without anyone in the media batting an eyelid. Now the only thing to worry about is a "boy who cried wolf" scenario, with a real lethal virus spreading but nobody believing it because we've heard it all before.

its a great name though, SWINE FLU!! , the world must surely end now. the pigs will kill us all. how very george orwell!! i cant imagine the same media panic if it were rabbit flu, or donkey flu. but the spectre of the controlling pigs from animal farm is ingrained in a whole generation of people, and so we are all supposed to be afraid, be very afraid.
remember bird flu, that was so innocent that they had to rename it avian flu in order to make it sound slightly scientific and scary, and all because nobody took 'chicken flu' seriously as a name.
ok, so this has the potential to be serious(ish) but when its compared to malaria or hiv or even normal flu, then its all a bit of a lightweight media driven panic. notice how it all went quiet in the press whilst the mp's in parliament were caught with their hands in the till, but now that dodgy mp storys dont sell as amny papers, we are suddenly all going to die from pig flu again!!!

WHO said what?
They found him wandering round Regent's Park with a cheap bottle of sherry...

And like a fool I mixed them and it strangled up my mind, and now people just get uglier and I have no sense of time...

You should still get 29 minutes 55 seconds worth of humour.

It's The News Quiz, a succession of jokes, it doesn't have a punchline. Knowing any particular joke beforehand does not make it worthless.
